Michael Ng is a seasoned music educator and performer with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Music from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a portfolio of prestigious diplomas in performance, teaching, and theory from ABRSM and Trinity College London.
Over the past 25 years, Michael has taught students of all ages and levels, from young beginners to advanced diploma candidates. His students have consistently achieved high distinctions in international music exams and competitions.
As a performer, Michael has appeared in major venues across Hong Kong and founded a classical-pop ensemble to bring music to wider audiences. He also serves as a competition adjudicator and masterclass clinician, most recently in Ganzhou, China (2024).
Michael’s teaching is defined by a rare blend of technical rigor and joyful exploration.
His mission: to help every student fall in love with music and grow into confident, expressive musicians.
